“DON’T BURDEN THE CHILDREN OF POOR WITH ANY KIND OF FEE”

Adv Ashok Agarwal, National President, All India Parents Association (AIPA), has handed over a cheque for Rs. 1,85,100 to Ms Vinita Bahal, HOS SKV Pandara Road towards Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Exams Fee of all 92 girl students of class X and XII of the school.

The amount was raised by AIPA through crowd funding. All these 92 girl students of this school shall now get back fee deposited by them with the school.

While handing over the cheque, Adv Ashok Agarwal said that girl students need more attention and support as they are facing gender discrimination. “CBSE should consider exempting at least 3 lakh students of Delhi Govt schools from Exams Fee or Delhi Govt should pay,” he said.

“The children of poor should not be burdened with any kind of fee, particularly in pandemic crisis,” he added.

WHERE WE STAND – Middle Class Hub believes that the current pandemic situation has affected all sections of the society in some way or other. It is imperative to come together at this hour of crisis, and help those who need it the most. While it is important that the government do what it must, the civil society should also step up. We commend Adv Ashok Agarwal for his yeoman service.
